We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced asset management professional to join our Asset Management team as Asset Manager - Operations based at Klarent Head Office .

The Asset Manager – Operations will support and provide direction in addition to ensuring a measured approach to elicit optimum performance from each property and its team within these properties.

The Role :

Reporting directly into the into Managing Director Real Estate & Asset Management, the Asset Manager - Operations will:

  • Actively manage a portfolio of properties by regularly interacting with the senior leadership, functional disciplines and as required hotel teams within the division.
  • Identify, analyse and ensure implementation of Real Estate Investment opportunities.
  • Keep informed of the dynamics of each of the portfolio market area to develop a strong understanding of the hotels and their respective markets.
  • Support the property department with any refurbishment / investment projects by providing the necessary analytical data and return on investment projections.
  • Ensure portfolio of properties are well maintained to protect the asset value and brand standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Regional Operations Management experience within the Hospitality Industry.
  • Previous experience in large operating city centre hotel properties (1000 bedrooms +) with MICE exposure.
  • Previous experience working within 4 star + brands
  • Strong skills and ability to work with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent commercial skills such as budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis skills, revenue analysis skills etc.
  • Thorough understanding of overall hotel market dynamics and performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of capital expenditures and improvements.
  • Exceptional ability to reconcile priorities and perspectives involving hotel operations, brand position, and hotel ownership.
  • Ability to Travel within UK & Europe
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in courses such as hospitality, business, or finance. (Desirable)
  • Previous Asset Management experience. (Desirable)
