On behalf of a leading facilities management client, we are recruiting for an experienced Asset Management & CEM Lead to develop and implement an end-to-end Asset Management and Critical Environments Management (CEM) framework. This role will align with ISO55001 standards and aim to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes across the UK & Ireland business, focusing on compliance, quality, and operational uptime.


The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, have a strong operational background in Asset Management and Critical Environments, and be adept at delivering complex projects in line with commercial objectives. This is a strategic position, requiring agility to adapt to the evolving needs of both the client and their customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop Asset Management & CEM Strategy: Develop and support the end-to-end Asset Management and CEM framework, ensuring alignment with the ISO55001 standard and the client's operational systems. Deliver consistent, quality outcomes that are client-focused.
  • Drive Process Efficiency: Ensure continual improvement of the asset management framework, leading to increased Capital Projects revenue through enhanced asset lifecycle planning.
  • Strategic Leadership during Contract Mobilisations: Lead the CEM strategy during contract mobilisations and transitions, making tactical decisions and taking ownership of outcomes.
  • Deployment of Solutions: Drive the implementation of CEM and asset management solutions across operational and commercial teams, fostering a culture of consistency and ownership within data owners and operators.
  • Serve as Central Subject Matter Expert (SME): Act as the SME for the business, leading the implementation of Asset Management and CEM solutions and ensuring their success in contract mobilisations.
  • Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management: Develop relationships with strategic service providers, industry bodies, and external SMEs. Ensure collaboration with external contractors and technology providers to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor the technical community, ensuring a consistent application of asset management and CEM processes across the business.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Support the wider business with innovation and the implementation of technical facilities management (FM) solutions to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in Asset Management and Critical Environments Management within a facilities management or related environment.
  • Proven leadership in the development and implementation of ISO55001-aligned frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in complex, high-pressure environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with a focus on commercial outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and act as a mentor to technical staff.
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and the future growth of Capital Projects revenue
