The deposit products function is responsible for the strategic planning, creation, design, launch and lifecycle management of all deposit products in the International Private Bank, this team has a deep understanding of the deposits business and its underpinnings. To achieve our goals, we partner closely with the Deposit Sales managers and Front Office functions for the elaboration and design of products and features as well as various functions such as Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Marketing to build, design and review changes.
You will lead the International Banking Deposit Product practice covering EMEA and APAC regions and will have the responsibility to create a strategic product vision and drive its implementation. This will be achieved through understanding the deposit products palette and its economics, its features for clients and advisors, the technology platform and the ability to handle ad-hoc requests (from regulators to the day to day business). Strong communications skills are essential, as it will be crucial to obtain buy-in and funding for the projects in the International Private Bank Deposits Product. You will be working very closely with the Global Head of Deposits, the regional sales leads as well the Deposit Pricing lead, but will also represent the Deposits Practice at various senior forums. Leadership skills are essential to lead a team of directs that will be managing individual projects and various stakeholders ranging from technology to Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Develop and implement Deposit Product Strategy across the international private bank
Work across product, Credit, Client Services, Risk & Controls, Operations, and other stakeholders/partner organizations to define objectives and key results that shape and inform product and technology prioritization
Build strong relationship with the Global Head of Deposits, Sales Management leads and various senior stakeholders across regions
Lead a team of senior project managers, who work deliver complex, multi-year and multi-region, cross functional projects
Represent the Deposits Products at various senior management forums and committees
Several years' of financial services experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
Effective change management and transformation experience, including project and program management that spans business and partners teams within the financial services industry.
Experience with the product owner model and agile technology development principles.
