Transaction Banking department is responsible for the product ownership of Corporate and Financial institution client’s Trade Finance, Commodity Finance, Cash Management, E-banking product as well as Corporate client’s Account, Payment, Deposit, overdraft services. As a Senior Officer - Product Development RMB Services, you will be responsible for the management and development of Corporate account and deposit products. You will also be responsible to manage Cross Border RMB business and international trade settlement.

Key responsibilities

  • Internal control, compliance and system management of account and deposit products
  • Take a lead in developing, optimising and marketing account and deposit products
  • Prepare proposals and other relevant documents for account and deposit products
  • Manage and promote cross border RMB business and international trade settlement
  • Prepare business development reports to Management and Head Office
  • Liaise with Corporate Banking department to promote the customer relationship
  • Liaise with Corporate Banking department, Banking department and sub-branches to promote account and deposit services
  • Conduct local market survey on account, deposit cross border RMB services and product capability
  • Provide product and system training to internal staff and customers
  • Review and update procedures and policies of account and deposit business

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Finance, Accounting or other equivalent
  • Banking and/or Compliance related qualification is an advantage
  • Front and/or Middle Office business experience
  • Experience in drafting policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of Banking operations
  • Good knowledge of financial products and services
  • Good knowledge of Consumer Duty
  • Solid marketing and sales skills
  • Solid reporting skills
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
