SailGP Technologies began as the high performance design, engineering and manufacturing arm of SailGP, the global purpose-led sail grand prix championship. SailGP Technologies has led the way in high-performance applied innovation.

SailGP Technologies has decades of experience in both building commercial and custom sailing yachts for the world's most renowned racing teams, leagues and private owners.

Our constantly evolving design, composites engineering, software and data expertise is rooted in decades of experience at the forefront of cutting-edge sail racing. Previously established and located in New Zealand since 2001, SailGP Technologies has recently relocated to Southampton, UK, with the new state of the art facility due to be fully operational in Spring 2024.

Job Summary:

The SailGP Technologies team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Facilities Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in setting up a brand new bespoke facility as part of a small team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily facility operations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Administrative support
  • Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring inventory levels are adequate.
  • Assist in the setup of new employees, including arranging workstations and providing necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Update Facility policies and documentation when required
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate with HR regarding Staff Welfare
  • Collaborate with Facilities Manager on Health & Safety requirements
  • Assisting with the recording of time tracking system and payroll reporting working closing with Team Leaders and finance
  • Manage staff uniform requirements
  • Coordinate with cleaning staff and ensure all areas are properly maintained and cleaned.

Background & Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
