The Department of Brain Sciences invites applications for a full-time lecturer in Parkinson’s disease. The post-holder is intended to provide academic leadership for Parkinson’s disease within both the department and the UK DRI Centre. The post-holder will be expected to develop an internationally leading translational research program related to some aspect(s) of mechanisms, neuropathology, diagnosis, monitoring or the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. The programme could address fundamental biology of the disease or, alternatively, its clinical expression. The successful candidate would be expected to be named as a group leader in the U.K. DRI Centre at ICL, with access to resources and additional funding opportunities provided by the U.K. DRI.
Individuals with strong foundations in data science methods to support their own science and contribute to the development of this area in the UK DRI and in the Department are sought especially.
