Job Description

As a UX Manager you will sit within the Marketing function and report to the Head of SEO & UX. The UX Manager will be responsible for managing core website improvement projects and is key to discovering website user pain points in line with strategic pillars, as well as conducting thorough user research and testing before the desired experiences move into development.There will be vital collaboration with the UX Architect, Frontend Developer, and Engineering Manager in the Tech function. This is a hybrid role based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Discover website user pain points and collaborate with colleagues throughout iterative optimisation streams.
  • Intimately understand and anticipate consumer needs, digital trends, and business objectives to ensure the experience meets customer and business needs.
  • Continue the development and maintenance of the design system.
  • Create experience prototypes in figma for planning and testing.
  • Strategically form data driven hypotheses and testing concepts, which includes facilitating workshops and user testing.
  • Advocate and share your knowledge of UX best practice throughout the digital team.
  • Plan and manage OKRs, identifying activities that need to be carried out to achieve key results.
  • Work with key stakeholders to shape the immediate and future UX of our website environments.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, as well as competitor analysis.
  • Identify and leverage metrics to drive and measure success and create measurement frameworks or reports to monitor the impact of website projects.
  • Help facilitate unifying the “voice of the customer” across all business customer touchpoints.

Experience

  • Hands-on experience of working in a fast-paced B2C retail industry with an emphasis on web.
  • Heavy utilisation of analytics and UX tools. Figma design and prototype capabilities would be beneficial.
  • Experience in informing the creation of high-quality web experiences.
  • Experience in working with different research methods, choosing the most effective approach and reflecting this in the design direction.
  • Ability to confidently use analytics and insights to support decisions.
  • Experience across a range of companies, industries, and project sizes (retail and ecommerce is desirable).
