Our client, a market-leading law firm with a global presence, is on the search for an innovative IT Development Team Lead to join them across an array of projects within their internal software solutions function. Leading your own squad of 5 developers, you'll be a significant part of driving innovation projects to ensure they stay ahead in the ever-evolving tech space.

As a Team Lead, you will bring your expertise in leading software development teams, and hands on development of digital solutions utilizing C# .Net and JavaScript within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role will involve working with AI so knowledge of Generative AI and Machine Learning is a must.

As a result of their hard work, our client has received several award nominations across innovation projects and in-house developed products So if you have a strong background in hands-on development with C# and .NET, software team leadership and have a knack for proposing creative and innovative solutions, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team leadership and line management of a team of 5 developers
  • Lead the creation of innovative solutions, from initial proposal to delivery from you and your assigned squad
  • Project management responsibilities, taking charge on organizing planning sessions to curate technical specifications and task breakdown
  • Stakeholder management - presenting project timelines and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bring out-the-box thinking and ideas to help drive the innovation of the company further
  • Collaborate with a multitude of teams to deliver expert solutions for their various clients

Technical Skills:

  • Software team leadership, in a fast-paced dynamic environment (4+ years)
  • C# and .NET (latest versions), JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • SQL
  • UX based design
  • Building RESTful APIs
  • DevOps, CI/CD
  • Working with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
  • Previous experience leading the delivery of innovative products or software solutions
  • Strong experience with agile ways of working
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI and Machine Learning and a passion for keeping up with the latest revelations in tech
