Youth Options has developed a reputation for delivering high quality Outdoor Learning provision in the Eastleigh and Southampton areas. The aim of our provision is to engage, develop and empower children and young people to develop their social and emotional capabilities and improve their engagement with learning through nature-based activities.
As the Horticulture Lead, you will lead the maintenance and development of the garden and growing space at our Outdoor Learning Centre in Bishopstoke Eastleigh. In addition, you will lead the development and implementation of horticulture courses for children and young people, engaging in our provision.

You will be part of a wider outdoor learning teamdedicated to supporting, developing andengaging children and young people to realisetheir abilities, aspirations and make a valuablecontribution to their communities throughhorticulture and nature-based learning.
In addition to the horticulture role, you will beworking across a number of projects leadingsessions to support young people in a variety ofsettings including Itchen Valley Country Park,New Park Farm and Schools sites.

Hours: Full time, permanent – 37.5 hours per week (other, more flexible hours would be considered)
We are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic individuals who are committed to making a difference to the lives of children and young people. You will need to be flexible, creative, and caring and have previous experience of working with young people.
