Estimator Interior Fit-Out Construction Contractor c£50k - £60K (Dependent on Relevant Experience)
My client is a dynamic and specialist interior fit-out contractor operating in a variety of sectors ranging from hotel, luxury residential, museum and exhibition sectors.
Reporting to the Estimating Director they have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Level Estimator, with 3 to 5 years experience to take their career to the next stage. Youll be given the opportunity to work on and submit tenders for prestigious and landmark projects throughout the UK and Overseas
Set up cost plan for projects
Issue tender packages to sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring all the relevant information is provided.
Ensure sub-contractor quotations are received back by the specified date, set out by management.
Arrange and attend site visits with sub-contractors
Ideally 2 5 years Estimating in either a construction main contractor or specialist interiors subcontractor
Familiar with computers, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Use the in house estimating package & internal contract controller system
Must have a good understanding of commercial issues relating to tenders and securing work.
Must have a good understanding of designers specifications including building technology and materials.
