Job Summary:
The S/4HANA Public Cloud Senior Programme Manager is a senior position within the Cloud Delivery Practice – S4PC, a strategic growth area for NTT DATA Business Solutions. The S/4HANA Public Cloud Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for the success of our projects, from estimation and planning through to execution and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the Professional Services and Software industry and will be familiar with the challenges of delivering projects to a large and diverse customer base.

This role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects now, while also looking ahead to work with the Practice Director to develop a best-in-class delivery team across the S/4HANA Public Cloud product portfolio. With direct reports of our Cloud Delivery project managers, we require a candidate who has strong expertise in project delivery and experience in executing roles successfully as Programme Director. The ability to engage at the executive level with proactive Steerco meeting engagement on our major programmes is essential. Building and sustaining a strong PM team will be key, with the ability to mentor team leads on appropriately undertaking Steerco meetings and guiding our projects to success. The role will entail a personal utilization target of 60%.

Working across the S4PC delivery team, this role will include responsibility for accurate forecasting, reporting on non-productive time spent on our implementations across his/her portfolio of projects, and advising the Public Cloud Director on improvement programmes, including automation within our deliveries. Ultimately responsible for the health of your programmes, you will ensure we have a Path to Green for any Amber and Red projects and will be responsible for lessons learned and improvements to our delivery methodologies, aligned with the Enterprise Team for learning and consistency. Project governance across all our practices needs to be consistent, and you will create a strong governance template for all services delivery, assisted by our governance coordinator.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Act as a Senior Programme Manager across multiple programmes, guiding NDBS and Customer delivery teams on their S4PC journey.
Responsible for handling programme escalations and establishing a clear path to green on your programmes.
Support the Cloud Delivery Director on wider practice initiatives, contributing to practice and team development.
Ensure that all internal processes are met (time, quality) in regard to reporting and scope management.
Support the Sales Team on Bids by reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) and engaging with potential customers.
Lead by example: Inspire and lead the PM function to deliver excellence consistently.
Manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction is at the heart of our delivery approach.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Line management of the PM Team Leads, with responsibility for your assigned programmes.
Ownership of the development plans for the PM Team.

Required Skills/Abilities:
~10+ years of experience in the Professional Services or Software industry.
~ Experience in delivering projects to a large and diverse customer base.
~ Experience leading a team of Project Managers or PMO.
~ Strong leadership and communication skills (including written and verbal English).
~ Ability to work effectively with a team of cross-functional stakeholders.
~ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
