Service Desk Analyst

I have an excellent opportunity for a 2nd line Service Desk Analyst for a rapidly expanding company based in South Wales
The company are growing very quickly and this role is offering significant career progression.
The role would be Hybrid with 2-3 days in their South Wales office.
Salary would be up to £50K with excellent Benefits
The Role:
Based in their Cardiff office and working in the IT Team, the Service Desk Analyst will play a vital role in providing first-class IT support to the company’s UK offices.
Act as the primary point contact for the IT Service Desk for walk-ups, incoming calls, support tickets and requests
Provide support to all offices, and on-the-ground support for the South Wales office
Resolve end-user requirements including hardware and software support requests
Managing the Starters / Leavers / Movers processes, including account creations
Managing IT services, contracts, subscriptions, and licensing
Maintaining and creating technical documentation and knowledge base articles
General administration and support of on-prem Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online
Perform application support installation, removal, configuration and updates
Assist with transformational projects using Microsoft Azure and M365 platforms
Assist in responding to and remediating any issues affecting all or part of the organisation
Contributing to Continual Service Improvement, Service Reporting and Service Measurement
Supplier management
The Person:
Minimum 2/3 years of hands on experience working in a Microsoft support environment
Windows Server (Active Directory, ADUC, Sites and Services, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, DFS, SAN)
Troubleshooting client side issues, Windows 10, networking and mailflow
Fundamentals of Azure Infrastructure
Hands on experience with M365 services eg Teams, SharePoint, ExchangeOnline, AzureAD, Intune
Experience of supporting SharePoint online environments including document libraries
PowerShell / batch scripting knowledge
General experience of supporting security tooling (EDR, SIEM, IDS, IPS, Email Security)
Fundamental 101 networking knowledge, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls, routing, VPNs
Exposure to Information Security frameworks (e.g. ISO27001/ NIST)
Managing and supporting VMware server estates.
This role would suit an ambitious 2nd line professional whom is looking to grow into a 3rd line role and beyond.
