Job Description Job Role: Business Development Director Role Overview Responsible for driving new business across the managed segments, reporting directly into the Head of Sales. Leading new project and initiatives to drive sales, deliver top line revenue delivery and driving new business to exceed budget and outperform the market. A strategic commercial leader that will work closely with the Sales team and the wider Commercial team to ensure robust strategic actions are in place to exceed budget expectations.

Key Job Responsibilities Ensure the hotel delivers budget expectations, developing and implementing sales strategies with a focus on driving new business. Account manage Key Accounts based in London to drive business into the portfolio. Key focus on Business Development and driving new business across the managed segments. Sales lead on new projects and initiatives to drive revenue to the hotel. Accountability for delivering corporate, business group and meetings and events budget. Support the team to implement sales strategies, setting monthly, quarterly sales targets and review these on a weekly and monthly basis. Work closely with the hotel commercial team to ensure there are strategic action plans in place to increase market share, acquire & convert new opportunities, and strengthen relationships and exceed budget expectations. Work closely with the Brands to maximise all awareness and engagement opportunities for the key Strategic Partners. Be comfortable operating in account acquisition, communication, and delivering results on time. Work closely with dedicated area hotel team to ensure of regular, accurate reporting of campaigns and activity. Create, innovate, and lead events such as sales events, road shows, fam trips, and customer events. Own the production of regular & Ad-Hoc reporting to support identification of opportunities, and act quickly to implement strategies to deliver. Account manage key London based accounts to drive new business to the portfolio. Lead on commercial negotiations to ensure the right business is delivered to support market outperformance. Hold regular team meetings, business review meetings and present to Regional Team monthly. Analyse current performance and sales to make informed decisions about expanding into new markets Monitor expenses and ROI to ensure cost-effectiveness
