Job Title: Electrical Contracts Manager - Facilities Maintenance
Location: Warwickshire (with travel to London) Company: Leading Facilities Maintenance Specialist We have a great opportunity for an Electrical Contracts Manager - to join a growing progressive company with a varied portfolio of projects typically small works ranging from £500 upto £200k, covering commercial,healthcare, retail and renewable sectors. This role is based in the London area working remotely from our office in Warwickshire, with time spent on client sites around the UK. We are looking for a Manager to oversee and manage all site-based operations. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed to the required standards, time and cost. You will also be liaising with clients and site staff to ensure that requirements are clearly understood, and agreements are fully delivered. You should also hold relevant management qualifications and an trade qualification and also be flexible and willing to carry out some site based works and to work as part of the Contracts Management Team to assist in delivering small works covering multi trade accreditation on behalf of the business. Skills/Abilities * Ability to manage a high volume of small works projects as part of our Projects Team. Dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards * Proven leadership skills including management * Ability to work on your own initiative * Be a good communicator with an organised and methodical approach to completion of projects * Commercially aware with a good grasp of operating under different contract conditions An ability to develop and motivate others Ability to run projects from 5K to 200k from approval to final account * Be able to manage / order both labour and material spend Maintain excellent relationships with employees, contractors and clients * Competent with Microsoft word, excel, etc Be able to liaise with client and designers at design and contract meetings * Ability to create small works quotes * Arrange and book in labour for site * Review and regularly asses your team to ensure all site personnel are working to a high standard and take remedial action if appropriate. * Offer technical support to both the client and the engineering team * Have own tools to be able to carry out site based works where required Qualifications: * Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager in facilities maintenance, with expertise in small works, fire damage, and insurance works. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices. * Exceptional leadership and team management skills. * Effective communication, negotiation, and client interaction abilities. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. * Willingness to travel to project sites in London and across Warwickshire. * Full UK driver's license.
