Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Indirect Buyer to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Sourcing Team.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick, Bicester, or Guilford where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Reporting to the Indirect Purchasing Manager, you will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost savings, ensure quality, and maintain compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Executing and developing procurement activities for a range of indirect spend categories, such as engineering services, IT services & hardware, marketing, property, facilities, professional services.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement in supplier performance.
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure optimal terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels.
• Implementing strategies such as demand aggregation, supplier consolidation, and contract renegotiation to achieve cost reduction targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across departments such as finance, operations, and legal to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimisation within the procurement function.
Experience in purchasing within automotive or manufacturing industry
• Marketing, Professional Services, Property, Facilities, HR, Engineering Services, IT Software & Hardware, Design Services, Automotive Sales Infrastructure (desirable)
• Proficiency in purchasing tools and technologies, such as eSourcing platforms and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of purchasing best practices, contract law, and regulatory requirements.
