Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Strategic Sourcing Manager – Exterior to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Sourcing Team .
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick, Bicester or Guilford where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Reporting to the Direct Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving the development of a new commodity, attracting new suppliers, and building the processes and action plan for the near future. The scope of work included Lighting systems, Glazing, Panoramic roof, Sealing systems, all car Plastics, Side mirrors, Locking systems, Wiper & washer systems.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be positive and proactive, as well as inspirational and strategic in your thinking. Working with a team of skilled buyers and senior buyers, you'll be responsible for managing a team of 5 people minimum, developing supplier strategies, and overseeing contract management. Strategy Development: Lead the development and support of the purchasing management team's strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute significantly to the formulation of a strategy aimed at supporting mid to long-term growth goals, playing a pivotal role in driving organizational expansion.
• Spearhead the development and management of supplier relationships, fostering partnerships that drive value and support business objectives.
• Contract Management and Negotiation: Take charge of contract management activities, including effective negotiation strategies, to secure favourable terms and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Supplier Performance Management: Implement robust systems for evaluating and managing supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated expertise in purchasing within the automotive manufacturing sector, specifically with exteriors
• Project Management: Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timely achievement of milestones.
• Procurement Strategy Development: Experienced in formulating and executing clear procurement strategies, adept at driving transformative change within the business to optimize purchasing processes and outcomes.
• Influencing and Relationship Building: Strong influencing skills coupled with experience in networking and cultivating relationships at all organizational levels, facilitating collaboration and achieving shared objectives.
• Possess excellent analytical skills, capable of distilling complex data into actionable insights and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders across the organization.
• Team Leadership: Experienced in building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to achieving collective goals and driving continuous improvement.
