A growing children’s home provider in Wolverhampton are recruiting for a Registered Manager for their soon to open 3 bedroom, LD home. The new home has gone through extensive renovation, making it purpose built for the young people who will live there. This role will be managing a newly opened 4-bedroomed LD children’s home in Wolverhampton. You will be managing and supporting staff on a day-to-day basis and will be responsible for ensuring that all of the young people are receiving outstanding care, enabling them to succeed to the best of their abilities. Hold a QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management qualification in residential care for children and young peopleYou must have at least 2 years’ experience of managing a home of ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’You must have at least 4 years’ of experience of working within childrens residential care, ideally within LD settings although EBD experience will also be considered What you'll get in return
You will be paid a competitive salary of £50,000 with an additional bonus based on Ofsted inspections and length of service bonuses as you progress within your careerYou will have 28 days annual leave as well as your birthday offYou will be offered Life Insurance of up to £100,000You will be joining a company who put it’s staff at the heart of every decision What you need to do now
