The Role

Jacobi is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Client Solutions Manager to join our EMEA team.

The CSM is responsible for helping clients make best use of the Jacobi platform to support their investment needs and workflows. The individual will work closely with investment and software engineering colleagues at Jacobi and should be passionate about technology and its ability to help solve challenges for investment professionals. Therefore, it is important that the applicant has relevant investment industry experience. The individual will also help lead onboarding of new clients and day-to-day management of client deliverables. They will be expected to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Role Requirements

  • Ability to understand complex client requirements with respect to portfolio analytics, investment modeling and communicating on investment matters
  • Ability to become a proficient and passionate user of the Jacobi platform and help promote best practice usage across clients
  • Ability to manage client expectations and deliverables, including the onboarding of new clients, moderating and arranging regular update calls and meetings as required
  • Ability to train and on-board new users of the technology and develop materials to support users, such as product updates, training presentations and user documentation
  • Ability to engage with clients in a technical and professional manner and develop client relationships including with different stakeholders in an investment organisation (e.g., investment professionals, technology and operations specialists, business leaders)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and proactively problem-solve client issues, working in collaboration with the relevant technical experts in Jacobi where required
  • Proactively contribute to Jacobi product development by identifying areas to develop and enhance and translating those into actionable engineering tasks
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of company best practices, standards, and policies

Skills and Technical Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and/or specialist investment software
  • Good understanding of finance and technical aspects of investment management
  • Strong project and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work with changing priorities in a highly dynamic environment
  • Good leadership qualities such as taking initiative and ownership of projects or tasks and seeing them through to completion
  • Experience working with project management and engineering software such as Jira, Jira Service Desk and BigPicture

Experience and Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience with proven track record of success in financial services, particularly investment management or technology
  • Experience working in high performing technical teams
  • Experience working with and managing relationships with clients (desired)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
