Business Development Director

Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Director with a strong understanding of technology, coupled with substantial business-to-business sales and account management experience. This role involves selling our Salesforce Sales & Marketing Cloud services to both new and existing Enterprise and SME clients.
Key Responsibilities & Outputs:
- Increase revenue, primarily from Salesforce Sales & Marketing Cloud services, aligned with the business plan.
- Cultivate relationships and partnerships with Salesforce in the UK and Europe to drive new and existing business.
- Conduct initial demonstrations of Salesforce Sales & Marketing Cloud capabilities.
- Position Salesforce solutions to enhance customer impact.
- Collaborate with the Solution Engineer to build and present Salesforce Sales & Marketing Cloud Solutions to prospects.
- Negotiate and finalize product and service orders, contract addendums, and renewals.
- Manage and develop existing and new contacts.
- Provide monthly accurate forecasts to management.
- Develop a business plan in collaboration across teams to drive net new revenue.
Education, Experience & Knowledge:
Education: Related Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Proven commercial success working with executives, VP, and C-Level. Several years of experience in software solutions selling or digital transformation projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions.
