Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join the UK based team as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join the UK based team as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions. This is a permanent, full-time role (part time considered) based in the UK or Ireland, where you will have the opportunity to shape and drive business development activities in EMEA and North America.
Established over 20 years ago, our client has successfully developed and commercialised unique technologies within the medical space, which have rapidly become the global standard across the industry. Continuous development of new products and associated technologies has resulted in the creation of innovative products across quality of care and treatment. Setting new benchmarks for pioneering technology, creating revolutionary solutions and fostering a collaborative environment have helped this Australian company flourish.
Reporting directly to the Sydney based CFO and with day-to-day operational connection to the VP - EMEA based in Dublin, you will play a vital role in defining and implementing the company’s business development (BD) strategy to pursue opportunities aligned with their strategic growth agenda, including acquisitions and strategic partnerships:
Develop BD strategy
Lead BD governance processes
Some travel required
You will have operational experience and a proven track record as a C-suite executive, with over 10 years of experience and a strong background in the health/medical or device/bioscience industry. You will possess exceptional business acumen, financial literacy and a solid understanding of industry trends and financial statements. Additionally, extensive experience in managing M&A projects, negotiation, deal execution and financial modelling will be critical to your success in this role.

MBA or tertiary degree in a business/commercial discipline or a scientific, engineering or clinical background
