Large international B2B group are looking to hire an Interim Group Financial Controller for a 12 month period. The role will report to the Group CFO and can be delivered mainly remotely, ideally with 1 day per week spent in their Surrey head office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee group finance team responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Lead the annual statutory accounting and group audit process, liaising effectively with external auditors
  • Support any M&A transactions throughout the year along with the effective accounting for these
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis as required by the CFO and other senior stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experienced Group Financial Controller, with background including large and complex businesses
  • Knowledge and experience of financial reporting requirements in private equity and/or PLC listed groups, reporting under IFRS
  • Well-developed and proven interpersonal and communication skills
