JOB Technical Sales & Applications Engineer

TERM- Permanent

My client is a leading provider Mechanical and Electrical instruments. They are looking for a Technical Sales and Applications Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permenant basis.

The Technical sales & Applications Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
An educational or hands-on background in Engineering
Degree qualified or further in Engineering, similar subjects
Experienced in or knowledge of electronic/scientific/medical industries would be ideal
Technical Engineering knowledge to understand quotations and queries
Previous experience supporting customers in a similar technical / sales role would be beneficial
Excellent customer-service skills and a passion for sales
Confident and driven for career progression
Be keen to develop as part of an organisation long term

The Technical sales & Applications Engineer role will involve:
Support from initial design to completion for emerging oppertunities & projects
To focus on sales growth, developing the product and sales portfolio
Identify and chase new oppertunities relating to the companys core competencies for essential service, maintenance, testing and site upgrades.
Coordinate detailed Mechanical & Electrical design for all projects, including schematics, mechanical assembly drawings, BOMs, test scheduals and associated documentation
Customer facing role, working closely with customer and project managers to deliver the assaigned project
