Health & Safety Training and Auditing:

  • Develop and deliver induction and ongoing training on health and safety policies, ensuring staff understand and comply with them.
  • Conduct internal health and safety audits, covering both administrative tasks and project-specific audits.
  • Manage external audits and keep documentation on the company’s internal systems up to date.
  • Carry out Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) assessments and implement any necessary follow-up actions.

Advisory and Support Roles:

  • Serve as the internal health and safety expert, offering advice and guidance to staff.
  • Liaise with internal and external health and safety experts and stakeholders.
  • Support and manage the delivery of CDM roles, including acting as CDM Principal Contractor and Principal Designer.
  • Monitor legislative updates and ensure the company’s health and safety practices comply with current laws.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain and update health and safety records, including ROSPA submissions, performance data, and training records.
  • Ensure documentation is readily accessible and up to date on the company’s internal platforms.

Committee Involvement:

  • Coordinate, attend, and document health and safety-related meetings, ensuring all records and minutes are properly maintained.

Project Involvement:

  • Contribute to fee-earning projects, ensuring health and safety standards are integrated into project delivery.
