Supply Chain Manager
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for optimising supply chain processes? We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our team of three Supply Chain Coordinators and drive our company's success in delivering top-quality products to our customers. If you have a proven track record in supply chain management and the ability to building strong supplier relationships, we want to hear from you.
Europa is a well-established player in the electrical wholesale market, known for distributing a comprehensive array of products. As the leader of our Supply Chain team, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to maintain top-notch supplier relationships and optimise stock levels to meet customer demands.
In return we will offer you a competitive salary from £42,000 per annum dependant upon experience, + companywide bonus scheme, 23 days holiday which increases with service & the option to purchase more, increased pension contribution, BUPA private healthcare with the option to add family members, 3 x life assurance & EAP, free onsite parking useful for travel from Luton Airport.
Key Responsibilities - Supply Chain Manager
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and empower our team of Coordinators to excel. Lead on training and development, conduct personal development reviews.
* Evaluate and enhance our MRP system to optimize inventory management and production planning.
* Negotiate supplier agreements to maximize quality, cost-effectiveness and value.
* Inventory management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess.
* Supply Chain optimisation: Identify areas for improvement with the supply chain, implements strategies to enhance efficiency while reducing costs.
* Quality Control: Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to uphold quality standards.
* Reporting & Analysis: Generate & analyse Supply Chain performance reports, present findings & recommendations to Senior Management.
Skills & Experience requirements -While experience in supply chain is a plus, we value enthusiasm and a can-do attitude above all. Proven experience in supply chain management or a related role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MRP/ERP systems.
