Key Responsibilities – Supply Chain Manager
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and empower our team of Coordinators to excel. Lead on training and development, conduct personal development reviews.
- MRP System optimization: Evaluate and enhance our MRP system to optimize inventory management and production planning.
- Supplier relationship management: Build & maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers. Negotiate supplier agreements to maximize quality, cost-effectiveness and value.
- Inventory management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess.
- Supply Chain optimisation: Identify areas for improvement with the supply chain, implements strategies to enhance efficiency while reducing costs.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to uphold quality standards.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate & analyse Supply Chain performance reports, present findings & recommendations to Senior Management.
- Proven experience in supply chain management or a related role.
- CIPS level 4 qualification or higher.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MRP/ERP systems.
- Forward-thinking mindset with a drive to improve efficiencies wherever possible.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
