Role: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £80,000+

Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer on behalf of an esteemed and well- established global legal services organisation. The successful individual will work across different business units, supporting the wider group to safeguard data and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mitigate risk through the implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity measures.
  • As an experienced Cybersecurity specialist, you will lead efforts to minimise risks and streamline the security of the firm's data and assets, as well as those of the associated entities.
  • Leveraging your expertise, you will consolidate cybersecurity protocols, creating a more efficient and effective system that yields tangible outcomes. Ensuring our focus remains steadfast on delivering exceptional service to our clients and customers.
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols and guidelines that are robust and compliant with industry standards.
  • Mentor and empower fellow cybersecurity and tech professionals to enhance their capabilities and impact.
  • Conduct routine security evaluations, penetration tests, and risk assessments to protect the organisation against potential threats.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Incident Response team to devise and implement effective response strategies, ensuring resilience in the face of cyber attacks.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity measures across IT infrastructure.
  • Engage with IT teams and business stakeholders to pinpoint areas for cybersecurity enhancement, promoting initiatives aligned with our strategic objectives and legal commitments.

About you:

  • 7+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity/Technology field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft365 security tools such as Intune, Azure AAD, Conditional access, and others.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing cybersecurity standards and delivering change to existing technical controls.
