Job Description

Albany Beck are hiring for a Cybersecurity Senior Project Manager to work on a long term programme of work with a global financial institution. They are a leading provider of market data and infrastructure, serving clients worldwide with innovative financial solutions. With a strong commitment to security and technological excellence, they are seeking a skilled IT Security and Cybersecurity Project Manager to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As the IT Security and Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's digital assets and ensuring the resilience of their market infrastructure, driving all change initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement robust cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
  • Solid understanding of governance, control and risk management in projects.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard against cybersecurity risks.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the organization's cybersecurity policies and procedures align with relevant compliance frameworks.

Incident Response:

  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan, coordinating responses to security incidents and breaches.
  • Conduct post-incident analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Security Awareness Training:

  • Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity awareness programs for employees.
  • Promote a security-conscious culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in IT security and cybersecurity project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of market infrastructure and financial services.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
