Refreshing are exclusively working with a really interesting drinks brand which is very well established, but now looking to step up to the next level. It produces many products and is now moving the majority of the HQ to Central London from it's current base near the factory in the North of England.

The Commercial Finance Business Partner will partner with the Commercial organisation. This role will develop Gross Margin reporting, support commercial managers with detailed analysis of customer/channel investment and empower the teams to make impactful data driven decisions to drive sustainable growth. The candidate will promote a process improvement mentality, identifying opportunities, and creating efficiencies through effective analysis and building strong business relationships.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (examples)

  • Lead the preparation of Sales budgets and forecasts for the sales teams, identifying key assumptions and challenges that are embedded in the plans.
  • Provide commercial analysis and recommendations to support channel deliverables, enhance understanding of financial metrics and drive margins.
  • Develop and analyse promotional pricing and business cases for strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and drive through improvements to forecasting, reporting and other financial processes to gain better control and visibility of performance.
  • Work with financial control team to ensure the accuracy of the month-end figures

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Commercial Finance Business Partner i n an FMCG environment.
  • Advanced Excel Skills (vlookup/pivot table)
