Technical Officer ( Handback & Stressing )

Rate: £420 /day DOE

Location: North West

Length of Contract: Rolling

*** Calling Handback / Stressing P-way Engineers Immediate opportunities available ***

We are looking for technical officers, Permanent way/ Track engineers with hand back and stressing for some long-term projects.

This position would be working on a tamping and stressing project across

If you wish to progress with your stressing and handback or looking for better contract please get in touch

Experience needed

* Hand back/close out engineering experience

* S+C and plain line track work.

* PTS

* Good understanding of railway track maintenance

* Handback and Stressing Tickets required (all levels welcome)

* Track renewal experience desirable

Skills Required

* Excavation 2D and 3D

* Basestone 2D and 3D

* Tamping - ALC, MOST, Smart ALC

* Stressing 1,2 and 3

* 3D Survey Methods (trimble Total station)

* 2D Survey Method (6ft Relative gauge, dumpy etc)

* Set up 2D lasers

* Amber Trolley runs

* Platform gauges

* Datum Plates

* Geometry Plates
