This position is responsible for providing leadership and management for safety, customer relations, union management, operational execution, financial planning and results, commercial development, and the strategic vision of the location. The General Manager is responsible to ensure that the location and operations are executed in compliance with company guidelines, policies and procedures. Enforces, clarifies, and follows Company policies, standards, and procedures.
Responsible for managing the divisional profit and loss financials.
Responsible for maintaining company assets and records in accordance with company policies.
Responsible for other local relationships (customer, vendors, and government) critical to the success of the operation.
Ensures strict adherence to company policies including those in the Integrated Management System (IMS)
Ensures strict adherence to company and government compliance related policies including the Code of Conduct, Procurement Narrative, the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and local laws and regulations.
Leads efforts to ensure employees are trained and competent for the roles they fill and that the KSA procedure from the IMS is followed.
Performs additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as may be directed.
Should have at least 5 - 10 years of drilling and leadership experience in drilling operations.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple requests from various avenues, and the ability to change direction in response to fluctuating circumstances.
Must have good computer skills to include all MS Office products.
Must be able/willing to travel nationally and internationally.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors. Change Management
Oversee and manage the overall quality of projects and/or employee performance.
Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
Ability to comprehend, remember, and follow verbal and written directions and comply with Company policies, procedures and standard.
Use repetitive wrist, hand or finger movements at a computer.
