Are you passionate about the environmental attributes in delivering projects?

This project is a vision of the future, a design to be sustainable using low embodied carbon material, solar panels and ground source heat pumps. What will the role look like?

The Senior Environmental Advisor will be responsible for implementing strategy, driving innovation and providing environmental assurance across two innovative projects in the Oxford area. The Senior Environmental Advisor will have the drive to provide environmental assurance and technical capabilities to support project leaders and the delivery teams from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  2. Support in the provision of advice or technical solutions so that the latest developments and innovations in permanent and temporary works are considered during the design phase and then implemented through construction
  3. Provide early advice and direct help to the project, clients and contractors to assist with the resolution of any significant environmental challenges
  4. Early "hands-on" engagement to deliver processes and procedures (EMS and EnMS)
  5. Engage with supply chain and Procurement functions to maximise environmental sustainability benefits and meet client requirements
  6. Ensure the project complies with environmental legislation and minimise potential risks
  7. Promote the reduction of energy use and carbon emissions and the implementation of waste reduction and managing with leanness
  8. Monitor and measure environmental performance, and undertake inspections or audits of the projects
  9. Setting standards and ensuring compliance by carrying out site audits and inspection
  10. Statistical reporting and analysis
