- Fully supporting the management of quality, safety, health and environmental systems.
- Assisting with local initiatives to improve quality, safety, health and environmental performance.
- Support and provide advice on compliance with management systems and maintenance of certifications through proactive support and compliance auditing.
- Support the wider QSHE team in maintaining high standards across the board.
- Manage daily QSHE services on site, ensuring smooth operations.
- Drive proactive engagement in business activities and the development of best practices.
- Implement initiatives to enhance QSHE performance organization-wide.
- Assist in obtaining and retaining necessary accreditations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards through audits, site visits, and inspections.
- Take prompt action on issues relevant to your role.
- Maintain and update online systems, including the CAFM system.
- Aid in investigations and reporting of incidents, recommending corrective actions.
- Review and ensure proper closure of incidents in the management system.
- Deliver training programs on QSHE initiatives.
- Provide support for risk assessments and method statements.
- Assist in preparing and presenting reports.
- Liaise with statutory bodies as necessary.
- Oversee environmental plans, sustainability efforts, and associated audits.
- Manage waste consignment and transfer systems.
- Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations.
- Manage occupational health aspects such as noise and vibration monitoring.
- GSCE in English and Maths or Equivalent
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification
- Good IT Skills and Experience – Microsoft knowledge is essential, FM IT systems is desirable.
- Awareness of environmental legislation and best practices.
- FM, M&E and/or multi-site experience.
- Working knowledge of Certified Management Systems such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
- Working knowledge of legislation and statutory compliances within the facilities management sector.
- Experience/involvement of implementing, monitoring and reviewing management systems.
- Auditing and Reporting ability – with experience of undertaking QSHE audits.
- Planning and organising ability.
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally from or within the FM / M&E industry or with similar experience.
- Good verbal & written communication skills are essential.
