About the Role

Be accountable for building a good pipeline of prospects, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and becoming a trusted advisor to them. You will help business owners find the right payment solution and make it easy for their customers to buy from them. Work closely with the internal team to provide information that will assist the prospects' decision.

  3. You will have built an excellent knowledge of our solutions, the payments industry, and our ideal customer’s needs.
  4. You will have consistently signed a minimum of 15 merchants/month.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Generate leads through direct prospecting, lead management, and networking.
  • Build relationships with your prospects through calls, face-to-face meetings.
  • Demonstrate our payment solutions with a focus on the relevant benefits to the prospect.
  • Update and maintain your interactions on our CRM system.
  • Work closely with the team to identify areas for continued knowledge improvement.
Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • At least two years of experience selling POS Payment solutions.
  • At least three years' total Field Sales Experience.
  • Comfortable prospecting and selling face to face or on the phone.

You will be working as part of the sales team and reporting to Ian Millar, Sales and Finance Director via our Senior BDM.

Your Environment:

Based in Lochgelly, our office is easily accessible. You’ll be field-based and required to efficiently manage your own diary to maximize your day. You will also be expected to travel to the office for training days.
