Royal Armouries Museum and New Dock Hall is a purpose-built events venue hosting events from 10 - 2500 people.
This role will suit a Sales Assistant from a similar style hospitality business, who can come in and hit the ground running
Delivering the overall Christmas sales strategy for the venue.
Conducting reactive sales activities including responding to telephone and e-mail enquiries
Proactively selling the facilities by various techniques and always aiming to meet customer needs and exceed customer expectations.
Coordinating conference and events bookings for the venue for short lead bookings

Could you bring your spark to Restaurant Associates? The successful Sales Assistant will undertake the following duties:
Promptly respond to incoming Christmas and sales enquiries, drive conversion rate, arrange site visits and contract bookings
Nurture client relationships to maximise all upselling and sales opportunities
Network with internal and external stakeholders
Our ideal Sales Assistant will:
Will have Sales or event planning experience within the UK conference and events industry
Be self-motivated and can maintain focus in the achievement of sales targets
Be competent in Microsoft Office and have a good understanding of database management
Have excellent communication skills, verbally both on the phone and in person, and written
Will be an effective team worker as a key member of the central sales team
Have a passion for events and food
Delphi/ Sales Force experience
