Are you ready to drive revenue growth and foster lasting relationships with key government departments in the UK? We're seeking a Strategic Account Director to focus on developing opportunities across our strategic client base. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in expanding our footprint within central government departments while ensuring alignment with their procurement objectives.
Tailor our procurement services to address the unique needs and challenges of each department.
Identify opportunities for business growth within government departments and develop corresponding strategies.
Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored proposals and presentations.
Lead the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Develop strategic account plans for each government department.
Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor key performance metrics for government accounts and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
Lead a team of direct reports, ensuring achievement of development and sales targets.
To be considered for the role of Strategic Account Director we are looking for candidates to demonstrate the following:
Proven success in strategic account management, preferably within the government sector.
Bloom offers a dynamic supply chain providing the public sector with a marketplace to buy and manage services. We ensure delivery of quality outcomes from our pre-approved and ever-growing network of suppliers and consultants. We can provide a compliant managed procurement service covering specification development, supplier identification & onboarding, commercial management, and lessons learned upon successful delivery of outcomes.
We make it easier for public sector buyers to deliver on their social value goals through our marketplace and believe in the need to demonstrate innovation and showcase the skills of the SME community including social value that can be generated through every project.
