My client builds cutting edge SaaS solutions for Enterprise and Blue-chip clients across Europe and who have a software platform that is revolutionising the data services they can deliver to their customers on a global scale.


This company are looking for a Lead Engineer or a Senior Software Engineer looking to become a lead on their core product development team. They build their SaaS suite of applications using Python, TypeScript, PHP, Symfony, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL with a React.js front end.


This role is suitable for a hands-on lead developer or a Senior Software Engineer looking to move into a Lead role in the next 18 months, and who has a background in one of PHP, Python, TypeScript, Java, Golang, C# or Node.js and who is happy to go into the offices to work in a collaborative team for 3-4 days per week.


They have a very collaborative Agile team environment and they like people who are passionate about their craft, who are also interested in quality coding using principles like Domain Driven Design, CI/CD and good software engineering practices.


Strong in at least one open-source language of choice ideally one of PHP, Python, TypeScript or similar
Experience with design patterns and data abstraction
Leading Projects and leading and mentoring more junior software engineers on the team
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
SQL and NoSQL DB experience
Hands on experience in performance optimization & debugging
Building APIs
Advocate for code quality and implementing coding principles and practices like DDD or similar
Some knowledge in Database management and SQL optimization would be useful.
A background in AWS would be useful and an interest in serverless architecture using Lambda would be beneficial as well.


You will be the senior engineer on a team building the next generation of their SaaS applications providing complex real time data driven services in new an innovative ways.
