We are on the hunt for a newly qualified or finalist Management/Tour Accountant to join a leading live entertainment and events companies A successful candidate should be highly driven, passionate about music and culture along with having a pro active and positive attitude. Here you will be a key support to the Financial Controller, supporting them with the day to day finance functions along with management of the junior team.

This is a permanent role that offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

  • The Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller with day to day running of the core finance function and financial reporting

  • Document and build policies and procedures around finance processes and controls

  • Manage the finance assistants, including working on their continuous development, clearly defining roles and responsibilities across your team, with the support of the Financial Controller

  • Month-end reporting including preparation of monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller

  • Multi-currency reporting for overseas entities and events

  • Consolidation of the companies entities

  • Working with third party providers for payroll, tax and some accounting services

  • Reconciliation of inter-company loan accounts

  • Preparation of VAT returns and dealing with HMRC

  • Assisting with the PO process and payment approvals

  • Preparation of reconciliations and files for cash reporting and accounts payable

  • Provide the Financial Controller with any ad hoc analysis and reporting

  • Continuous process improvement

Skills:

  • Newly qualified or Finalist level (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)

  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel skills

  • Detailed orientated

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Management reporting experience (variance analysis of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow)

  • Experience using Oracle software package

  • Experience in a music, media or creative industry.

  • Tour accounting experience

  • Management experience of one or two finance assistants

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Ability to get through volume of tasks in a timely manner

  • Passion for music and events
