We're on the lookout for a skilled Internal Communications Officer who brings valuable experience from navigating the details of communication within complex organisations. If you're enthusiastic about applying your expertise and broadening your horizons, we'd love to hear from you. The Role: So, what will you be doing as an Internal Communications Officer? Working collaboratively with colleagues in the UK, France, Italy, and Germany. Building strong relationships across the organisation. Assisting stakeholders in sharing messages about their activities to various audiences within the organisation. Developing high-quality communication plans, advice, and tactics. Remaining adaptable to manage evolving circumstances while keeping long-term team goals in mind. Ability to simplify complex information for all employees. Experience in delivering compelling content across diverse media and formats. Aiming to measure the impact of communications efforts. Bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to enhance internal communications effectiveness. Fostering a sense of belonging and engagement among employees within the defence organization. What are we looking for in our next Internal Communications Officer? Extensive prior experience in an internal communications role is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in managing stakeholders across all organizational levels, including senior leadership, and collaborating with diverse cultures. Strong planning abilities coupled with flexibility to adjust plans in response to changing situations. Outstanding written communication skills, with a track record of delivering content across various media platforms and formats. Capacity to implement process and procedural enhancements aimed at streamlining our approach. Capable of delivering short-term improvements aligned with our long-term vision. Committed and dedicated to seeing projects through completion, with a keen willingness to learn and innovate.
