As a Demand Planner, your role will be pivotal in managing supply and demand within an established industrial/manufacturing firm. You will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, ensuring a smooth supply chain, and ultimately enhancing our business operations. Client Details This is a sizeable industrial/manufacturing firm with a worldwide presence. Operating in a competitive industry, the company prides itself on its innovative approach to business and has a strong commitment to continuous improvement within its Manchester operations. Description Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns. Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities. Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. Ensure supply chain efficiency by coordinating with warehousing and logistics teams. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to understand demand forecast drivers. Maintain the demand planning software and system. Participate in inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels.Profile A successful Demand Planner should have: Proven experience in a similar demand planning role within the industrial/manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of inventory management practices and operational processes. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel. Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.Job Offer A competitive salary, ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per year.
