MPI have a requirement for a Supervisor (Mechanical) Wildcat Maintenance Force to work on site at RNAS Yeovilton BA22 8HTThis is a full time permanent role working 38 hours per week Monday to FridayThere is also the option for shifts.Leave entitlement is 28 days - Monday to Friday working weekOur Client has an exciting opportunity for Supervisor- Mechanical, to be based at their site located in Yeovil. The Supervisor- Mechanical is responsible for the aircraft maintenance and ground support to Wildcat aircraft.Our Client is proud to support the Fleet Air Arm, including the Wildcat Maritime Force, based at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, delivering services ranging from the repair and maintenance of military aircraft to fuel delivery and off aircraft support services. Yeovilton is one of the Royal Navy`s two principal air stations, is one of the busiest military airfields in the UK and home to more than 100 aircraft.Responsible for the aircraft maintenance and ground support to Wildcat aircraft.Comply with Company Quality Manual, HSE policy and all site regulations.To support their Line Manager in the operational performance of their team, whilst maintaining a compliant, efficient, and effective operation in line with contractual commitments and customer working procedures.To have the ability to work a day’s routine or a shift pattern in accordance with the Customer and operational requirements.Ensure the Line Managers are made aware of all business risks.Ensure all verbal and written customer complaints and Quality issues are brought to the attention of their Line Manager.Ensure the Line Manager is informed when regulatory, continuation, induction, human factors, promotion, on–job and new equipment training is required for Fitters/Fitters Mates and Apprentices.Attend further training courses necessary to their job are attended as required. Ensure best practice and assurance of regulatory compliance by the utilisation of DASOR, Assure and any other reporting medium to capture and communicate findings and actions from engineering, safety and near miss events.Ensure the monitoring hazards and risks, and issues are identified and quantified.To remain flexible and carry out any other tasks within their capabilities and experience in support of the Contract as directed by the Contract Manager or their representative.Where applicable Customer Policy and Regulations applicable to their grade and position.Company Equal Opportunities Policy. Attained a Service Certificate of Competency (CoC) or successfully completed a local Company Supervisory Management and Aircraft Documentation Course and CoC Board.Wildcat Aircraft Engineering and Aircraft Systems (by Trade).Wildcat Aircraft Servicing and Support Equipment.Project Planning and Lean Operating Procedures.Health and Safety, the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations, Tool Control and Quality Practices.Engineering and Asset Management Systems.An understanding and proven experience of Airworthiness Engineering Safety and Compliance iaw Regulatory and Legislative requirements (MAA).Competitive salary plus benefits Up to 6% contributory pension scheme.25 days annual leave A range of benefits to support the health and wellbeing of you and your family such as Employee Assistance Programme, Simply Health Plans, Annual Leave Purchase Scheme and more.Access to a wide range of discounts and exclusive deals such as Mobile Phone discounts, Cinema discounts, Leisure, and Hospitality discountsA fantastic culture and supportive team where you’ll get the chance to make a positive difference in a company passionate about diversity and inclusion.Company discounts which include cinema, merlin entertainment and online shopping discounts and discounts on mobile phone plans and leisure centre memberships.Committed to professional and personal development with a wide range of training and coaching opportunities to expand your capabilities
