Yeovil, United Kingdom Abri Full time

Are you proactive, motivated, professional and friendly? We're looking for someone who is passionate and diligent to join our team as an Apprentice Plumber in September 2024.

Working as a great team player, you'll assist your mentor in carrying out work and installations to Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s very important your customer service skills are top notch - we want to always go above and beyond and amaze our customers with the services we provide.

Your day will include:

- Developing skills and competency relevant to plumbing, assisting trade colleagues and supporting all service areas within the Commercial Services team.
- Delivering basic plumbing repairs under supervision of a competent trades person. Assisting in all aspects of repairs and installation of water services and mains.
- Understanding health and safety requirements and other relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
- Being supported by your supervisor and a mentor.
- Attending college and completing all course work on time and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced team. A chance to work on properties sites across the south of England, building affordable homes which will provide shelter to those in most housing need.

Does this sound like the opportunity you’ve been looking for? Then we’d love to hear from you

Interviews will be held at either at our Yeovil office.

If you have any questions, you can contact our Homecare Apprenticeship Coordinator, Charm Liddle at.

As we grow, we’re re-establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service.
