Thorp Precast are a forward thinking construction business with a passion for quality and innovation. Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking to strengthen our Pre-construction/ Sales department. We are seeking an Assistant to support the technical sales and commercial team in managing and developing a varied and extensive portfolio of tenders and enquiries.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience in a similar role or has a desire to develop their career within the construction industry and gain experience and skill in a wide variety areas.
 
Tracking and maintaining directory of samples and pre-contract activities.
Assisting with the creation and maintenance of sales and marketing materials.
Assisting with sales and market research.
Preparing documentation for handover to internal teams upon contract award.
Attending, where required, sales and pre-construction meetings both online and around the UK.
Assisting with pre-contract structural and architectural design, specifications, and technical responses to external queries.
Assisting with commercial aspects of live projects including surveys, valuations, and variations.
 
quantity surveying, estimating, project management, facades generally, other sales or technical sales and design positions, would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
· The candidate will be detail orientated and produce high quality of work.
· Applicants with Quantity Surveying or other construction related course would be looked upon favourably.
