The Role of a Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships in our stores, offering hire solutions with a range of top-tier products and equipment. You will work independently to run the HSS concession within our partnering Builder's Merchant, supporting customers with their hire needs and upselling/cross-selling where possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Support key sales initiatives and strategy to exceed sales and revenue targets
  • Work independently to run the HSS concession within our partnering Builder's Merchant
  • Upsell and cross-sell hire solutions to customers

Requirements

  • Committed to delivering exceptional communication and customer service
  • Proficient in meeting and exceeding performance targets and KPIs
  • Proactive and positive outlook with a solution-driven approach
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and expanding product expertise
  • Prior experience as an Assistant Supervisor or Sales Assistant within Tool Hire/Construction or a similar industry
  • Valid driver's license

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 7:00am until 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am until 5:00pm (with an accumulative extra day off during the week for every 2 Saturday shifts worked).
