Duration – 2 Year Fixed term contract

Our client, have a brilliant opportunity for a Contract and Supplier Manager to join their established team to support with the purchasing of goods and services. This is a pivotal role in the organisation where you will liaise across the legal and procurement teams to ensure the goods and services are being correctly identified and are being purchased compliantly.

You will have previous experience working in UK Higher Education or a Public Sector Environment and will already understand contract requirements and commercial contract management processes. In addition to helping to improve processes and creation of process maps you will undertake a range of administrative tasks to ensure robust contracts are in place.

This is a hybrid role with at least one day a week to be carried out on site in Southampton.

Work in collaboration with the Senior Contract and Supplier Manager to deliver commercial contract management, procurement activity and managing external suppliers to deliver timely contracts and procurements
Keep contracts updated and control the implementation, fulfilment and compliance by suppliers.
Verify commercial Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) covering supplier performance, spend and contract compliance
Track vendor risks to ensure mitigation plans are defined and escalate where necessary.
Undertake financial administration processes and spend tracking to support with budget monitoring processes.
Process invoices and orders and raise requisitions, liaising with Finance and working within financial regulations.
Other reasonable requests as set out by management
