JLF Consulting Engineers is a highly accredited civil and structural design consultancy based in Neston, Cheshire. We work with clients from initial concept through to final construction in various building sectors across the UK. Our innovative approach to engineering challenges and commitment to excellence set us apart in the industry.

This is a part-time on-site role for an experienced Civil and Structural Engineer at JLF Consulting Engineers Ltd. The appointed candidate will play a crucial role in a variety of projects across different sectors, with the following key responsibilities:

Collaborating to develop and implement engineering solutions.
Utilising your experience to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Preparation of structural designs using relevant software or by hand calculation where appropriate.
Meetings with Clients to discuss prospective and current projects.
Site visits to carry out relevant visual inspections and measured surveys.
Assisting with day-to-day management of construction projects being carried out by our affiliated company JLF Developments Ltd.

Minimum of 5 years experience working in a design office environment.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience using relevant design software, preferably Tekla TEDDS and Tekla Structural Designer.
Proficient in preparing technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Good writing skills and experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to communicate technical details effectively.
A full driving licence and the ability to travel to site meetings across the UK.
