My client is seeking an experienced US Tax Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US tax laws and regulations, tax planning, compliance and client management. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of US clients and involved in tax projects, providing strategic tax advice, managing compliance processes, and fostering strong client relationships.
Manage a portfolio of US clients: managing all aspects of the tax compliance and wider relationship management
*Develop and implement tax strategies for clients with cross-border interests between the US and UK.
*Reviewing US tax returns.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive tax advice and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner.
*Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
*Work collaboratively with the wider tax team.
A range of previous experience in US tax compliance and advisory services, in owner managed businesses, personal tax, partnerships and corporate tax is preferred but not required in all areas.
*UK tax technical knowledge is preferred but not required
*In-depth knowledge of US and UK tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
