1. Assist the Head Buyer in all aspects of the buying process, including vendor selection, product sourcing, and negotiating terms and pricing.
2. Conduct market research to identify trends, analyze competitor offerings, and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
3. Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and implement buying strategies that align with our company's goals and target market.
4. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and actively seek new supplier partnerships to expand our product offerings.
5. Review and analyze sales data to identify top-performing products and make data-driven decisions for future purchasing.
6. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
7. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of products and resolve any shipping or quality issues.
8. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance metrics and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

1. Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
2. Previous experience or internship in buying, merchandising, or retail is preferred.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
5. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
7. Passion for fashion and a keen eye for product selection and trends.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
