As a Commercial Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement to meet the company’s operational needs. You will play a key role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to identify and plan procurement activities
Monitor procurement progress and provide updates on active projects.
Provide support to the team in managing processes, cross-functional training and risk management
Strong background in commercial and procurement frameworks, with proven process improvement skills
Self-starter with expertise in Procurement and Category Management; knowledge of financial management is a plus
Experience in building and managing key supplier relationships
Proficient in supplier categorisation, performance management and the sourcing lifecycle
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with bid writing software is desirable
