Area Sales Manager

A rare opportunity has become available for an eager and energetic sales professional to take over the Northern Region of this International Lighting Company. There are over 30 Area Sales Manages covering the country and you will report directly into the Regional Director.
You will be looking after and growing accounting within wholesale customers by:
• Developing relationships with Wholesale Branch Managers, Buyers and Trade Counters
• Target upcoming project opportunities
• Assist wholesalers, electrical contractors, and consultants to specify your products to their customers through training and product advice.
You will be completing monthly reporting and presenting to your peers at a monthly divisional sales meeting, sharing customer developments, new initiatives, and ideas.
Monthly meet ups and regular phone calls keep you in the loop and you always have experienced people to call on if you need answers or assistance. There is a fantastic basic salary on offer as well as very generous commission, fully expensed car, laptop, phone etc. Good holidays, healthcare, and pension.
You need to have a stable background in a sales or account management role, our clients need to see longevity in your career to date. If you work within the lighting / electrical or technical industries, this would be fantastic, but all backgrounds will be considered.
