Marketing Manager (Interim position for 6-8 months)

Responsibilities:

  • Event planning, with a focus on driving booth traffic, organizing activities, and engaging with visitors to promote brand awareness and product interest.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to develop comprehensive marketing campaigns for the company's product brands, utilizing diverse marketing techniques.
  • Contribute to the marketing strategy to determine and deliver the company’s overall marketing plans and strategic brand direction. Continuously review strategies to meet evolving marketing needs and priorities.
  • Work alongside Directors to establish aims and objectives for the marketing team, ensuring their successful delivery within agreed budgets.
  • Lead branding projects from conception through to market launch and analysis, ensuring alignment with brand direction and objectives.
  • Generate innovative concepts and ideas for marketing material to enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Conduct sales analysis to evaluate promotional effectiveness, providing detailed reports to Directors.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the Marketing team, managing work priorities and delivery of targets.
  • Produce advertising, marketing brochures, and sales kits, including copywriting and print management.
  • Manage website development, content management, and social media profiles, ensuring timely updates.
  • Conduct research within associated trade sectors, reporting findings and market trends to the marketing department.
  • Collate and report competitor information, specifically on new products.
  • Plan and coordinate exhibitions and trade shows, including stand project management.
  • Develop strategies to drive traffic to the company's booth during events, including innovative tactics to increase footfall and engagement.
  • Organize and send out invitations to targeted attendees, leveraging various channels to maximize event attendance.
  • Plan engaging activities and interactive experiences at the company's booth to attract and retain visitor interest.
  • Devise strategies to effectively engage with visitors, capturing leads and fostering meaningful interactions to promote brand awareness and product interest.
  • Liaise with outside agencies for ongoing marketing projects.
  • Work closely with Sales teams to address marketing/promotional issues from customer visits.
  • Compile Customer Service and product training presentations for Sales teams.
  • Respond to customer requests for marketing information.
  • Ensure all marketing projects are delivered within agreed timelines.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business-related subject, minimum 2:1 award.
  • Minimum of 3 years Marketing Management experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience leading branding projects from conception to market launch and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing, including social media planning and content creation.
  • People management skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Creative and imaginative with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £50,000.00 per year
